ZEN System Requirements
System requirements will depend on whether We Host ZEN or You Host ZEN. Regardless of which method you select, however, installation of ZEN is quick and painless. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your questions regarding the installation of ZEN.
We Host ZEN Requirements
Since ZEN is web-based, your solution is accessible from anywhere with an internet connection. All that is required for you to use We Host ZEN is one of the following:
Internet Browser
- Internet Explorer 6.1+
- Mozilla Firefox 1.5+
- Safari*
* Zen in Safari is fully functional but some styling does not display correctly.
Operating System
- Microsoft
- Mac OS X
- Linux
You Host ZEN Requirements
Since ZEN is web-based, your solution is accessible from anywhere with an internet connection. For users, the requirements are the same as the We Host option above.
Server Requirements
The ZEN application will install and run on any server* on any operating system which has the following components running:
- PHP 5+ (Scripting Language)
- Apache 2+ (Web Server)
- MySQL 4.1+ (Database Server)

For users to have remote access to ZEN changes to your firewall may be necessary if remote server access is not currently available.
* Almost any computer with sufficient processing power to run the above components will happily run Zen. As a database application it is recommended for the sake of performance that the server have 1GB of RAM installed, but this is not a requirement.
